Privacy Policy

The Funiz team treats users' personal information with care and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other applicable laws.

Effective July 6, 2026

This policy applies to the introductory website (labs.funiz.com, the "Site") operated by Funiz (the "Team"). Individual services built by the Team (BeamCue, Funiz, ComUtil, Carduu, SpinCat, VibeMeeting, ocamp, Face-K) may maintain their own separate privacy policies, in which case the service-specific policy takes precedence for that service.

1Personal information collected and how it is collected

This Site has no sign-up feature and does not directly collect personal information that users enter or submit. A minimal amount of information may be processed only in the following cases.

  • When you email us โ€” your email address and any information included in your message (limited to what you voluntarily provide).
  • Automatically generated during use โ€” access logs, IP address, browser type and similar data may be processed by the hosting infrastructure for security and incident response.

2Purpose of processing

  • Responding to inquiries and replying with the outcome
  • Operating and securing the Site (preventing abuse, responding to incidents)
  • De-identified statistical analysis to improve the service

3Retention and use period

  • Inquiry emails โ€” retained for up to one year after the inquiry is resolved, to handle any follow-up, then destroyed.
  • Automatically collected logs โ€” retained for the period set by the hosting provider's retention policy.
  • Where retention is required by applicable law, the period prescribed by that law is followed.

4Provision to third parties

As a rule, the Team does not provide users' personal information to third parties. Exceptions apply where there is a legal basis, or where an investigative authority requests it under due legal process.

5Outsourcing of processing

We outsource the following tasks to operate the Site.

  • Cloudflare, Inc. โ€” site hosting and content delivery
  • Google LLC โ€” email (receiving and replying to inquiries)

6Cookies and automatic collection tools

This Site does not use cookies for login, targeted advertising or behavioral analytics. The hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) may set cookies for security purposes, and you can refuse cookie storage through your browser settings.

7Your rights and how to exercise them

You may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information. Contact us at the address below and we will act on your request without delay.

8Destruction of personal information

Personal information whose retention period has passed or whose purpose has been achieved is destroyed without delay. Information in electronic file form is deleted using technical methods that make it unrecoverable.

9Security measures

  • Limiting the number of people who can access personal information to a minimum
  • Applying encryption (HTTPS) to data in transit
  • Blocking unauthorized access via the hosting infrastructure's security features

11Duty to notify

If the contents of this policy are added to, deleted or amended, we will announce it through the Site at least 7 days before it takes effect.
